Is Alex Schneider wrestling in Sims place?

It seems that alot of people can not understand why Weinzapfel is seeded so low at 145. He did lose to Weekly and Farmer this year. Plus he did not make it regionals last year. Sometimes he can wrestle so good, and at other times he seems to not wrestle to his potential. I think a 5th seed is reasonable.

Brandenstein(MD) at 171 and VanWinkle from MD at 285 beat both the ranked kids from Jasper. Weinzapfel(MD) at 145 lost to Farmer from BS. Lannert frm MD destroyed Mann from Castle and then won in OT over Boyd from BS.

MD beats Greencastle 82-0.

Bloomington beats Castle 43-26. Then MD beats Bloomington South 50-15 after beating Castle 53-17. MD looks good this year.

Wrestlers shaking hands with opponenet Coaches after a match

Wow!! Why is this such an issue? In a dual meet format, wrestlers shake hands in the face off, before the match, after the match, and again at the end of the meet. Also, the wrestle shakes hands with the coach after the meet. Why is it a big deal to shake the coach's hand after he wrestles, after all he did not wrestle him. As a MD fan, I know things have been said to the wrestlers after the match that shouldn't be said. Why expose a teenager to that? How does that show respect? Does it really show respect when a wrestler runs to the coach and just slaps his hand? Who cares if they only shake the coach's hand once? -
MD looked good throughout the whole day. Once the football players get to their weight classes, they will even tougher. Konrath and Schroeder was a great match. Konrath won 8-6 with a quick 2 point nearfall (Schroeder tried to gramby and flopped on his backed) with 10 seconds left. It will be an interesting sectional match up.

I heard that Franklin, TN will be there this year to. Sullivan is no longer going to be there.
