  2. Bishop Chatard has 3 going. It's been decades since we've gotten more than two. ;D
  3. I saw the illegal headlock. Good call. What we really need are a couple of videos where we can argue about whether there was a takedown or not (either at the edge of the mat or at the buzzer). That seems to be the area with the greatest discrepancy from ref to ref (or even match to match).
  4. Does Brebeuf have a team? Bishop Chatard is independent as well.
  5. It might make it harder for them to win a sectional, but it DEFINITELY makes it easier to win a state championship. With the current system, they still have to "beat" these tough teams, whether through defeating them directly or beating a team that beat them. With a classed system, there would be less teams competing for the title, which means less rounds in the tournament, the absence of some significantly good teams, and less of a chance for upsets. Plus people would just assume the 3A champ was the best. THIS is why Mishawaka or Perry would be proponents of classed wrestling. It is preposterous to think that winning the 3A class championship would be harder than winning the state championship in its current form.
  6. I agree. Which makes me wonder why classing like this even makes sense. You're not creating parity, you are simply watering down the number of successful programs that you must compete against to win a "state" title. It sounds like you proponents of this classed system weren't there when they passed out ribbons on Everybody Gets a Ribbon Day. Don't worry, I'll mail you mine. It's kind of lost it's value.
