No. 1 Penn State at No. 3 Iowa

This is a weekend many wrestling fans have been looking forward to from a dual meet perspective. Top-ranked Penn State will travel to Iowa City on Friday to take on the No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. This will be the first time this season we see Penn State face a top 10 team in a dual format.

Both teams appear to be wrestling well headed into this dual. Carver-Hawkeye Arena is a tough place to wrestle with their passionate fans. This should be a great test for both teams.

Breakdown

125: Although we are unsure exactly what weight the dual will be starting, our preview kicks off with a rematch of last year’s national championship match. Iowa’s Matt McDonough won that match a year ago and is undefeated on the season. Many people who have been watching him this season believe he’s not as dominating as much as he did last season. With that said, he has not lost and that is what really matters. He is finding ways to win. Nico Megaludis of Penn State only has.............
