We will be having guest clinicians the next few weeks. 4/16 Courtney Duncan- Indiana State Champ, High Performance Wrestling Club, and Pendleton Heights coach 4/23 Ben Wissel- Indiana State Champ, NCAA All-American at Purdue, and currently Assistant Coach at Purdue 4/30 Josh Holden- Indiana State Champ and Head Coach at Greenfield Central High School 5/7 Chad Red- Red Cobra Wrestling Academy and New Pal coach We have had about 40 different wrestlers in the room. Each night there are usually 20-26 with all weight classes covered. Always looking for new partners in the room. If you have questions or need directions don't hesitate to call. We had 34 wrestlers that took advantage of the great workout and teaching from Coach Duncan. Covered lots of areas and banged a little at the end. Next Monday, Ben Wissel. Showed some fun trip techniques and worked on chasing down leg attacks. As always with Wissel, there was some intense battling to finish the night. Thanks for the workout Ben. Next week Josh Holden, Indiana State Champ and Head Coach at Greenfield Central. Always have partners for every weight 90 pounds up. Join us for some good "offseason" training. Numbers were a little low, but 25 wrestlers took the opportunity to receive some great teaching. If you haven't been in a workout ran by Coach Holden, you are missing out. He did an awesome job tying all 3 styles together, and emphasizing the transition from one score to the next. Thanks for the instruction, character discussion, and workout. He was formerly the Head Coach at Lawrence Central and Owner/Coach of Red Cobra Wrestling Academy. He was a 3 time NCAA qualifier and an NCAA All American. rrdwrestling Posted May 8, 2012 Author Share Posted May 8, 2012 Thank you Coach Red for running our RTC tonight. We had 28 wrestlers take advantage of an intense Chad Red style practice. Non-stop pace with lots of conditioning exercises mixed in. Showed some good ducks with variations for all 3 styles and then took the technique to the mat. Great workout with many drenched shirts at the end. We will continue our RTC until the last week in July. All USA cardholders welcome any Monday night.
