InjuredReserve
Whitley over lahue? That has to be the upset of the day. Maybe strengh of schedule (or lack of) hurt Bailey this year. Of his 30 wins, how many timeswas he tested (Shepard only?) Not takin anything away from the young man. He is an outstanding freshman wrestler. But Whitley has to wrestle : kenndy, popp, ward, and Marler every day. I think top 3 at 126 are top 3 again next weekend. I saw where people picked Gregory at 138...doesnt look like he made the finals? I look for all of these boys to fair well next week againt rhe southridge winners. I see the potential for 6 state qualifiers from this sectionals , with only two of them graduating. Good luck to Jeff on Wednesday...dont wrestle ur reserves! thegoldstandard
I would agree the mat room at this point in the year is a big difference. That match could go either way in a rematch. Lahue did a nice job riding but couldn't turn Whitley. I'm sure we'll see it again next week.
FCWrestlingMom
Very happy the FC wrestlers did a great job yesterday! It was a close match up with Jeff. They definitely gave a run for the money. It will be great to see the guys compete next week at Regionals!
