They also beat state dual meet runner-up Yorktown 67-33. They defeated a tough Mater Dei team 64-25. (Mater Dei forfeited the last 5 weights.) They defeated Jackson Creek 111-6 and Doe Creek 80-20. Individual results are as follows: 70 Trevor Lindsey1-4, 75 Davey Clayto 1-4, 80 Noah Warren 5-0, 85 Jordan Napier 4-1, 90 DJ Brookbank 2-3, 95 Brett Johnson 4-1, 100 Austin Clem 3-2, 105 Kain Rust 2-3, 110 Tristan Tonte 2-0 and Chan Lian 2-1, 115 Ngun Uk 5-0 120 Ryan Stinson 4-1,125 Garrett Milner 2-3, 130 Jesse Contreras 5-0, 135 Kyler Fleener 5-0, 140 kyle Spurr 5-0, 145 Josh Scott 3-2, 155 Chandler Dyer 5-0,165 Devin Baxter 2-2, 180 Johnson Korvah 4-1, 210 Jimmy Montgomery 4-1, Chance Hearold 2-0 and 275 Daniel Gaiter 2-1. It was an awesome day of wrestling and the finals against Franklin came down to the last two matches. The Franklin team was well coached and their kids wrestled tough all day. Mater Dei got third even though they gave 30 points to each team in forfeits. Good luck to all teams the rest of the season and we will see Doe Creek and Franklin Community again at the end of the season. Should be another barn burner!
