dstruck Posted November 3, 2010 Share Posted November 3, 2010 JEFF GRAPPLER EARNS ALL-AMERICA HONORS from the Evening News and Tribune Jeffersonville High School senior Ryan Dewitt finished sixth in his weight class at the USA Wrestling Preseason National Tournament last weekend in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The sixth-place finish earned Dewitt All-America status. Red Devil junior Alonzo Shepherd also competed at the preseason nationals, posting a 4-2 record in his weight division. Shepherd was one victory short of becoming an All-American. Shepherd qualified for state last season in the 103-pound class and won a state freestyle and Grec-roman championship.
