cadet130
Dave is currently signed with Bellator and Sengoku. He is having some issues with Bellator right now and therefore will not be signing with any one else any time soon here in the states. When he does, you will likely be seeing him with the UFC before the year ends.
Drooke
Thanks for the info, Cadet. I'm looking forward to watching Herman more in the future. PeeWee did however lose the bout this thread was about. He was DQ'd for illegal knees to a downed opponent.
cadet130
Dave won the first round handily. He was winning the second round in dominating fashion. His opponent was actually refraining from engaging with him. With about 10 seconds left in the second round Dave went to throw a knee and Soko dropped to a knee. Therefore Dave was DQ'd for kneeing a downed opponent's head. It is widely rumored that Soko put on quite the "show" as he acted too hurt to continue. The unfortunate thing about this is that this was an "all or none" Grand Prix. Jeff Monson, the heavy favorite to win this tournament, also lost in the first round. Currently it is in the works to get Dave's "loss" changed to a no-contest. The appeal process has already started.
