formerwrestler Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Just a reminder that The Tipton Wrestling Club will be hosting our 7th annual Beginners Folkstyle Open on Sunday, March 7, 2010. (This is the same weekend as Folkstyle State and is listed in the Amateur Wrestling News publication. ) The entire tourney will be offsite weigh-in only this year. NO ON SITE WEIGH IN! Please e-mail requests for documents to: cwarner1@sbcglobal.net by Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Forms are due no later that Wednesday, March 3, 2010 @ 7pm. $10/wrestler, pool bracketing so wrestlers compete on the same mat all day. Fans $3 per person or $10 per family $2 cooler charge. Concession Stand with hot food all day. Doors open @ 9am, wrestling starts @ 10am sharp and should be all done by @ 4pm or earlier based on past years experience. Excellent atmosphere for young wrestlers. Each wrestler receives a medal based on pool placing. Jim's Wrestling Supply will be on hand for any equipment needs. Please e-mail with any questions. Please send an e-mail to cwarner1@sbcglobal.net for offsite registration and forms. Please provide us with your name, club affiliation, and phone number to receive the offsite weigh-in registration forms. You will weigh-in your wrestlers on your club or school scale and fax the info to us by Wednesday, March 3, 2010 to register for our tourney. Please be sure to give exact weight of the wrestlers as we pool the wrestlers in groups of 4. Most pools end up being much closer in weight than standard weight classes. We may be interested in purchasing it from you. We are always looking for youth wrestling equipment to offset the cost of our new wrestling families coming into the program.
