nosoccermomhere Posted October 6, 2009 Share Posted October 6, 2009 October Humphrey Wrestling Program at Greenfield Central High School The Humphrey Wrestling program has produced over 30 state placers and state champs in the past year and is now expanding to other high schools around the state. Jordin Humphrey, Ohio State wrestler, multiple Indiana state placer, and head coach of Humphrey Wrestling has teamed up with Greenfield Central high school to provide practices two nights a week during the month of October. This month long program is designed to prepare each participant for the upcoming wrestling season. It is open to all high school, middle school and elementary wrestlers. The program will not take place unless we have at least 15 wrestlers sign up as it is a trial period at Greenfield Central to see if we have committed wrestlers in the area who have aspirations of becoming champions. Participation in this program also gets you a monthly membership with Humphrey Wrestling which allows you to attend all Humphrey Wrestling practices at any facility in October as well as discounts on upcoming camps and private lessons. Remember, the high school wrestling season is only one month away. Now is the time to prepare. This program will consist of 2 practices each week during the month of October. Tuesday 6:30 pm ? 8:00 pm Thursday 6:30 pm ? 8:00 pm Each practice will have a wrestling-oriented warm up, a technique portion, a drill session designed to teach wrestlers position, technique, and speed through repetition, as well as competitive live wrestling. The cost of the program is $60. To ensure everyone will get individual attention, we are limiting the program to 40 wrestlers. Please make all checks payable to Humphrey Wrestling and write in wrestler's name in Attn. area. Located in Greenfield Central High School's wrestling room 810 N. But, you can still check Humphrey out at Hamilton Southeastern High School on Mon and Wed from 6:30- 8:15 and on Sundays from 12-2. We are accepting new members of all ages and weights. We currently have wrestlers starting at Intermediate through High School.
