pm1981 Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Varsity score was Perry 99 Southport 6. The Southport kids were very well coached and wrestled tough all night long. Southport did give up two forfeits at 110 and 180 lbs. Varsity winners were: Jacob Cottey, Tyler Fleener, Corey Rutledge, Kyler Fleener, Cody Lloyd, Nick Bova, Aidan Kenny, Kyle Morden, Logan Feigel, Alex Holbrook, Carl Kelly, Jesse Phillips, Brandon Gutzwiler,Joe Cung, Jake Masengale, Keanu Cooper, Cody Smith, Wes Bernard, Kaleb Winfrey, and Donte Winfield. There were only 7 JV mathces wrestled. Perry won 4 of the 7. JV winners were: Stinson, Garcia, Clark, and Jones. Good Luck to Southport on the rest of their season.
