Browner pinned Columbus North's Gabe Watson in 3:39 as the Red Devils finished second in the powerful eight-team field. Second-ranked Perry Meridian won the event with 249 points, followed by Jeff (176), No. 20 Warren Central (170.5), and No. 14 Columbus North (151). Three Red Devils advanced to the finals before losing. Perry Meridian's Jared McKinley stopped Jeff's Alonzo Shepherd 15-2 at 103 pounds, Perry Meridian's Blake Wood conquered Alex Bailey 7-2 at 152, and Warren Central's Michael Johnson-Jones beat Tyler Tatgenhorst 12-3 at 189.
