  1. Hope someone could answer this for me, but didn't Stone and Minor wrestle the weekend before at Semi-State, if so how'd that go? Cause if i remember right Minor beat him, maybe majored him, but I could be wrong. Def. Maurer and Dolly, Amazing match! Ben Harper and Car back in 98-99 season!
  2. Had a coach try to get his wrestler a higher seed by saying, "In High School his wrestler was on Cover of USA Wrestling Magazine." Not anything to do with head to head, higher winning percentage, common opponents nothing like that, just his wrestler was on cover of USA Wrestling Magazine lol. By the way this is in A College seeding meeting. The things people come up with. ;D
  3. Sick Commercial.... Haven't seen it on TV yet. "118 minutes to lose the last 8lbs." ..... 8lbs in 2 hours, not bad for a 121 pounder.
  4. A lot of amazing accomplishments, but anytime an 18year old True Fresh. makes it to the NCAA D-1 finals is a pretty big deal. It only took one finals defeat in high school and it didn't happen again, I hope its the same for college!
  5. To be honest with you some people aren?t cut out to be college wrestlers. Balancing school work/12 page papers/ practice/traveling and making weight isn?t always the easiest task to take on. College professors don?t care if you have a meet on Saturday and Sunday, if you don?t have your assignments in tough luck. I?m not judging their physical capability, because they are obviously a college wrestler for a reason, but mentally I?m sure things can get overwhelming. Add in a good 10+ years of wrestling, and who knows maybe the guys burned out? More importantly schooling is the main reason why you are in college, to further you education and give yourself the best opportunities possible.
