What are you trying to say, Wildcat? Bill Hawkins and many other CP coaches and parents busted their asses to help get the kids to a point where they would be able to compete at a high level in high school. Most of the kids on this CP team came up the ranks learning how to wrestle through the CP lightning program while Bill was the main guy running it. All the hard work certainly paid off big time. From your comments, it seems like you just want to totally discount this fact because a couple of really good kids wanted to come and compete on the CP team too (and they did so following the rules set forth by the IHSAA). I am sure those kids, their club coaches and parents busted their asses too and wanted to compete for a successful program. I don't see how that takes away from the sense of tradition and community. Every team that gets on top is accused of this. I have been reading the indiana wrestling message board for years and it is always the same. MD, Mishawaka, Merrillville, Portage (in their hay day), etc. all get bashed every year because people want to call them cheaters. It's all just sour grapes because someone else is where you wish that your team would be. Really....is profanity needed on these boards? I can understand being passionate about a topic, but if you stoop to the level of using profane language on a message board for anyone to read, does it make you any better than the person you were trying to call out???? profanity? i didn't see any profanity in that post. Are you blind?

Two things that "grind my gears": 1. When people get on here and feel the need to use profane language. Makes you a lot tougher to use those big words, huh? 2. "Let it play out on the mat"...that quote alone drives me NUTS. What is the point of making a prediction on a message board, if all people can say in response is "let it play out on the mat" and then act like that makes them a better person. Duh, it will play out on the mats eventually, that's why people are talking about it. Have a little fun and quit taking a message board so seriously!

I am reasonably sure Perry and Castle are heartbroken that you are not impressed with their performances and feel the need to state the obvious that any of the 4 teams in their bracket can make the finals. Here is a news flash for you, Any of the 4 teams in the top of the bracket can make it also. Like it or not, these are the 8 best teams in the state this year (according to the system we have in place). Let the kids decide this on the mat... I hope you aren't this big of a donkey in real life, if so God Help you. I was just thinking the same thing about someone who would post something like what you did on here. What style, what class, what TOTAL B.S. You see...They actually WRESTLE the matches so we will then KNOW the outcome... Wow, some people get their posts taken off for saying the wrong thing once, but this guy can use BLATENT inappropriate language on the boards but have it left alone. Way to go moderators! Not sure what part of this is "Blatant" but it''s just as offense to EVERYONE to degrade teams and individuals by stating such arrogant blatherings as "didn't impress" and what have you. If you don't like it...Don't read it... Wow, way to go with the editing. Good job at making yourself look a lot better now that you've been called out on your display of class. If you really stand behind what you said you would've left it.
