Yeah I saw it to be available for two weeks as well. It does provide an unfair advantage if only two of the semi states are video taped. Anyone wrestling from MRV or FW are at a disadvantage if they are wrestling someone from EVN or NC. Just my two pennies on the subject...I like the idea, but they should all be made available. -

So how does this work with scouting? IHSAA states you can not video tape another wrestling match for scouting purposes....so can these be downloaded and watched for scouting purposes without breaking this rule? How can it be enforced? -
Yorktown did get called allot for stalling, but I didn't think they where any worse then the other on their feet. The one match with Sheets got called for stalling several times. Once it was after taking a shot...then got a stalling for two and a fleeing the mat all in one swoop to give the major to Sheets. I thought the ref should have given one or the other. Sheets was the better wrestler by far, but then in later matches when the tables were turned Belmont didn't get called at all. Allot of good wrestling though...these matches will all look different on Saturday without the team element.

Also take into account that Belmont was wrestling with a lead....all of their guys wrestled not to give up the bonus points. Smart wrestling and it paid off. Several Belmont wrestlers were not the better wrestler, but managed to just keep from getting scored on by not doing much at all. I think in an individual tournament that score is different. Faurote will actually wrestle, not just keep from getting turned to avoid the major. He will have to wrestle to win. Not putting anyone down at all...it's just the situation plays a big role in how they wrestle. Several of the Yorktown Belmont matches will be different. 112 Jackson probably gets a fall, Beavans wins bigger, Dulany will have more opportunity to score, Mosier has a better chance of getting the pin (still can't believe no stalling call was made) and several others. I was cheering on New Haven, but got to watch a few of these matches after we were done.

Were are the good matches going to be this weekend? Good team and individual match ups.

So will they see each other at the regional or sectional? Should be a good match either way.

Why the surprise? Has he beat Baker yet or beat someone who has beat him? Have not seen either of them wrestle yet...just looking at the rankings Baker does have more losses but to ranked guys. Who has Whitaker beat that is ranked?

If your the best it's all about talent! If your anything other than that it comes down to draw! So basically for about 14 guys it's about talent....for the rest it's really about the draw.

Just noticed that whitaker, mosier and baker are all in the same regional! There should be some good ticket round matches at 152 in Fort Wayne. Two of these guys are going to be wrestling regional champs in the round to go. How does it work for the semi state brackets....will the regional champ and 3rd place finisher be on the same side or will the 2 and 3 be on the same side at semi state. For state I assume it's the 1 and 4 on the same side and 2 and 3 on the same side?

Holy Cow!!! I just went back and looked....these three guys are all in the same regional! This should make for some good ticket round matches. So who is predicted to when the other 3 regionals?

Looking at the rankings here....will we see Bennet and Whitaker in the finals? The early rankings have Bennet at 152. The latest rankings have him at 145. This match would be worth watching!

Who will be in the Finals....how about the top 8? Who is still undefeated at this weight?

What weight are Moser and Baker going to be at? I see Moser has been at 160 and Baker has been at 145 some. This could leave 152 wide open if these two move out!
