Was very impressed with freshman 171 pounder Kourtney Berry of Merriville. Just as impressive was Berry's mom walking upstairs after the ticket round overtime match to congragulate Huey Hudson on his win and to wish him good luck in the rest of the tournament run. Very classy family from a very classy program.

Coaching the Coaching the Coaching the Riley J.V. all year, I have been very impressed with 4 kids from Elkhart Memorial: Bogle, Matteson,Vergonet and Olson. If I remember right I believe they are in a row from 125 thru 140.

Matt Wills HWT South Bend Riley 1991. Friday night he tech falled John Ison of Randolph Southern 19-4. On saturday he pinned Tony Roush of Eastbrook 1:18, pinned Steve Cleary of Whiteland 2:23, and in the finals pinned Frank Hammond of Perry Meridian in :53.
