  1. THANK YOU!!!!! for our 410 kid school! 103- Todd Batt 130- Josh Ehr 285- Jim West Great Job Guys!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. SOUTH ADAMS....(Class 1A) sending 3! New School Record, most state qualifiers in the same season! lol had to throw in the class thing, didn't I.....
  3. Coaches that can help turn something out of nothing, and get their kids to believe that the small school can go head to head with the big school is a huge task....I can think of a select few coaches, (the majority of the ACAC coaches) who take on this task head first.....and are getting pretty good at taking out big schools....with fewer kids, fewer resources, and a much smaller staff.....they do everything they can for those kids! Most of those coaches are there, not as a stepping stone for their career, but to be the stepping stone for the kids, as they move on to college. A coach that can provide more to their kids, like college exposure, will rake in 10 X more experience and knowledge with kids coming back from college.....That I know for a fact.
  4. I will. Then would you like me to post his answer? I am sure he appreciates being called out on a forum. I just pointed out that some coaches have been displeased with the organization and maybe that is a reason for low numbers. You were one of the coaches who voiced some displeasure with the IHSWCA. You have someone that you can ask about it personally, I was just telling you to go ask someone that you could talk to in the next couple hours. I might not be 100% satisfied with the way things work in the IHSWCA, but I will still support them in their endeavors as they are trying to help wrestling grow. The IHSWCA and I both have the same goals, but different ideas on how to achieve them. amen brother!
  5. California dont count......that place will be half the size some day due to earthquakes, so why make cali a class state, when they are gonna half to go back to a 1 class state someday soon anyways
  6. It's beddy bye time gentlemen....this will continue I am sure.....I need to sleep on a few thoughts anyways, and come out guns blazin tomorrow! Watch out!....hahahahahahahahahahah
  7. Maybe they heard about the Middle State Wrestling Championships, got really upset because they never thought of that great idea, and are having the MS State Basketball finals at your high school!
  8. Middle School Basketball! wow...they are still playing middle school basketball where your from
  9. I had to spend $100 to win $5 on scratch off's! We'll keep posting 100, 1000, 1000000 times just to get a chance!
  10. I just really like posting that picture....lol
  11. Each school no matter the size has to deal with issues, big schools aren't immune to problems such as swain as stated. Small schools aren't immune to them either. The biggest difference its easier to replace the kids at big school. You are making the case for a classed team tournament here, not individual I'm making a case for both. In order for my individuals to do well they need good practice partners, more time on the mat and probably even better weight lifting equipment and more mat space in the practice room. Good practice partners are harder to find at a small school. I know from experience as I had none what-so-ever in high school. As a 112lber, I had to wrestle up to 135-152lbs to get a decent workout in. In college I had great practice partners that helped me improve drastically. I had the same work ethic, heart, determination in high school and college, but the variables of coaching, practice partners and facilities helped me tremendously. At a small school it is a lot harder for those variables to come together, but at a big school there is a greater chance of this happening. FACILITIES! put a 5A team in here! At least you guys have a wrestling room. Our large 4A school has to move mats every day to our practice area. Room, it's a hallway!.....will class wrestling help us get a better facility? Probably not....we are suppose to get a new room, probably won?t happen.....but with more State level recognition, it most defiantly wouldn?t hurt our chances? If more people in the community backed us, and then seen what we have to deal with, all of the ?Probably Not?s? could change to ?Probably will?s? We also have to roll mats out onto the indoor track above the basketball floor!

  13. Basketball School! lol....thats funny, but true! I don't get it we have been 83-21 in the last four years, 2 ACAC championships, 3 SA Invite Championships, 2 ECIC Championships....7 semi-state qualifiers (1/2 our team) this year....and the basketball team hasn't been over .500 in the last four years! Our BB Program hasn't done any good since they went to Class Basketball! go figure! Y2.....just so ya know, I get along great with your AD....he always did what he could for our kids....plus my girls are big Cross runners, so...ya' see the connection. Hope you didnt take that last post wrong
  14. I have been waiting for this since the board first appeared!
  15. Be careful, it was your AD who took our original wrestling room.....and gave us what we have....of course he was looking down the road, and knew he'd be back at Garrett, so he thought he'd make it hard for us! lol....that didn't work out to well, SA and Garrett will continue to battle it out for the next 10+ years in the ACAC, before too long, all the other teams are gonna get sick of us!
  16. That's what they keep saying! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLL
  17. maybe if we had class wrestling we could have 14 champs a year!
  18. just over the wall on the left is the Swimming pool, Millions of dollars went into that! Hey we're gonna get our State Champs! real soon! with in the next few years!!!!! we'll have a few....maybe a few a year, who knows!
