I have seen several wrestlers through the years wearing goggles to protect their eyes. Contact the IHSAA to see what they say. Robert may refer it to the officials to find out any rule implications.

The one thing I am trying to wrap my head around is having to pay $10 to bring an alternate to East Chicago and they get their money returned if they wrestle. Is this the same for all three other sites? These policies should be established and printed in the Winter Bulletin and be the same for all four. I know last year we showed up not expecting to pay for alternates and extra coaches and paid $60 at the gate. Hoping to hear from the other sites on this.

Thanks, Clint. We have had inquiries from clubs from Portage, RWA, Penn, Rochester, a team from Illinois and some individuals from a freestyle camp I attended in Michigan last weekend. Give you kids a chance to improve their wrestling skills and have some fun. Last year we finished between 1-2pm so it didn't last all day. Trackwrestling will organize the bouts and we will get going ASAP. Weigh ins are Friday from 6-8pm and Saturday from 7-8am.
