He needed to go under. To win the NCAA title he has to get out from bottom. I was disappointed he did not try an explosive standup. I thought the same thing as you at first that he should have chosen neutral but he really needs to learn to get out. I thought it was the right call after thinking about it. He is going to be in a tight match this year where he will have to get that point by getting out from bottom.

Navy, Ness is 133, Alex and Andrae are 141. Too bad about Angel sounds like his shoulder is really going to bother him all year.
