I have to agree, seems like a waste of time. It's a long day at these tournaments, why make them longer for no reason.

Poorly Run Sectionals, What can be done.........

I somehow knew that this thread was about Northview. It's true, it's not a good venue for a large meet such as a sectional, but I have seen other tounaments that were run even worse. I think that back years ago, 80's, that Bloomington North and Bloomington South traded Sectional and regional each year. I don't remember for sure but any of the bigger schools in this sectional would be better than Northview. -

I realize coaches stretch the truth just a little bit on win loss records for tournaments, But how can you list a wrestler last Saturday at 1-0 and wrestle 3 times at Conference now 3-1. Less than one week later and with all of these school closings, wrestler is now 6-1 for sectionals. Do they think no body watches this stuff?

Just wondering how a wrestler can be 1 - 0 at conference last Saturday, go 2-1 at conference meet and be listed as 6-1 for sectionals just 5 days later?? I guess they must have wrestled some this week..Even though no matches were scheduled. Things that make you go,, Huh!!!

Begining to look like I'll find out Northviews brackets Saturday morning, Oh well, I guess thats the old fashion way anyway.

Pretty sure 125 didn't get #1 just because he lost to Terre Haute S. and Northview. The rest are possible to be number ones. I sure wish I could find something on the brackets..

Maybe with today being a snow day, someone will have time to post the Northview brackets. I hope anyway.

It usually comes down to Northview and Edgewood, Edgewood beat Northview head to head in a dual this season, so I think Edgewood is favored, but they are also giving up 2 forfeits for sure maybe 3. It will be interesting. -

I think it will come down to Northview, Edgewood, Bloomington South and Bloomington North may even be a player.

Thats right, I think my son may have wrestled him in Jr. High. He is a solid wrestler but unless he has greatly improved I don't believe that he is unbeatable, anyone one can get beat on any given day.

HWT also has Chris Brummet from Edgewood, undefeated so far. -
Anyone have any comments. I think it should be a good day of wrestling. Schools there include Brown County Bedford North Lawrence Connersville Edgewood Greensburg Jennings County Lebanon and of course Columbus East Edgewood has three undefeated wrestlers, I think.
