  1. Glad to see Goodwin and Ruhlman on opposite sides! Should make for fireworks in a potential state finals match!
  2. I was really hoping to see that match in the finals! Huyvaert is gonna have his hands full getting to the finals should be exciting to see.
  3. Walker and Ison Saturday morning. Winner gets Leavell super tough lower bracket.
  4. Action Jackson and Schaefer potentially Saturday morning.
  5. I wouldn’t call 4 take downs a back and forth match, Glenn seemed in control of the match.
  6. The ones that stick out to me in each weight at Evansville Meier vs Ash at 106 Heaston vs Rioux at 113 is Brutal!! Two Top 8 kids IMO Hagedorn vs Ash at 113 Gilbert vs Bickel (first round) 120 Stephens vs Krueger 126 Hammock vs Ison 132 is Brutal!! Two Top 8 kids IMO Reynolds vs Glenn 138 Turner vs Day 145 Roudebush vs Stits 152 Prechtel vs Hutchison 160 Tinoco vs Terry 170 Alexander and Fox 182 Somehow Henry Avoids the Death Draw at 195 Rose vs Martin 220 McMahon vs Schott 285 Really surprised with the Lack of Death draws this year also seems Evansville has 6-7 top 8 kids going at it in the Ticket round.
  7. Not saying anyone in here necessarily said that but after the match almost a lot of the mater dei fans were trying to take it away that it was a fluke that he didn't really win but in all reality timberman was the better wrestler that match.
  8. Well I can see there are a lot of mater dei fans in this discussion don't get me wrong the Luigs and Ervin match was exciting in my opinion it wasn't the best. Timberman wasn't expected to win at all. But that kid went out there and defended every shot by lee extremely well and we all know that two on one stalling call was not stalling when lee was backing out of bounds trust me I'm not taking anything away from lee I still believe he'll be our state champion at 145 this year no matter who bumps up or down to 145. Timberman won that match far and square. Yes he cramped one time. But anyone remember when timberman had lee cradled up and the ref stopped it for blood time as timberman was turning him?
  9. 106- Garcia 113- White 120- Ervin 126- Bass (dilbeck looks tough this year but I think bass takes him) 132- Red (pin his way threw) 138- Reese (look out for Ervin that kid is one tough 8th grader) 145- Lee 152- Foster 160- Heidorf (looked very impressive last year and this year) 170- Buckman (Mosley could pull it out if he shows up to wrestle) 182- Sonner (if he shows up to wrestle) 195- Frankrone (toughest weight imo anyone could win) 220- Larson (Choate has looked tough all year as well) 285- York (though I think Klem is someone to watch out for and could easily pull of a upset)
  10. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rooks upset hildebrandt Rooks is super tough and a great mental wrestler.
