Looks like Quiroga is the guy, but Ayersman looked good to start the season. I don't know if Quiroga beat Ayersman in a wrestle off, and I would be curious to know, but Quiroga is the guy that can all american again if he shows up. -

Does anybody know how Leach pinned Eppert? The freshman was 0-3. -
I ran across an old archive from 2012 that mentioned Alan Grammer as one of the best and that he beat John Smith. The reply was there were a lot of John Smith's. No one set this poster straight. Alan Grammer is probably arguably the best wrestler to never win a state title or to win a state title. I don't know all of his acalades but I do know that he was a 2 time high school state runner up and eventually a 2 time DII National Champ for SIUE and a D1 All American. He deserves more respect than that. By the way, I don't know if he beat John Smith or not but the John Smith your refering to is a 2 time Olympic Champion and won a few world titles along the way.
