This tournament turned out to be a pretty good one over all. It was the first year for it and ended up having 24 team. The gym was small and hot but the competition was good. from what I can tell there were 23 wrestlers state ranked. 15 from Michigan, 7 from Ohio and 1 from Indiana. As a team we did'nt do as good as I would have liked with only 4 placers but I would like to say I was very happy with our 170 Tate Burns who finished 2nd with his only loss to Ohio's #3 ranked wrestler in div 2 and returning state runner up. Unfortunately Tates little brother Seth broke his arm and is done for the season, he still finished 6th on the day. Also congratulations to Hunter Langeloh for winning at 120 which also had 2 other ranked wrestlers in it. Also I'm not to computer savy so if someone knows how to add a track wrestling tournament to the results and brackets page that would be great. Thanks.

Next week we head to Ohio for our first 2 day tournament along with several other Indiana, Michigan and Ohio teams , 25 total teams. Has anyone been to this before and how is the competition? At the Carroll duels today Seth Burns of Eastside beat Trevor Boyce of Dekalb 7-6,pinned Dylan damarco of Garrett and lost to Joel Byman of Carroll 8-5. Gage delong lost to Jamal Scott of Elkhart Central 4-3 at 152 Tate Burns beat Caleb Partin of Busco 6-4 and is still undefeated on the year.
