  1. Yeah, these rankings are great for keeping track of the Regions best wrestlers but are in no way 100% accurate in determining the best. Thats what February is for. Great work guys!!
  2. Wrong Davis. Josh Davis @120 from Evansville Reitz. Too many Davis's this year!
  3. Davis @120 lost by injury default not fall. He was choked unconscious. I think he is 19-1 on the year and his loss is by choke. He beat Schitter from Jasper and Mantel from Zionsville.
  4. Ferguson @106 Kuhn @113 Davis @120 looked dominate in all of their matches. Todrank @126 looks like a sleeper coming out of the woodwork and Johns @132 was in the toughest weight with Ervin but gave Wedding a great match. Reitz has improved in the middle of the line up since the Hill Classic and had Reese @138 out to illness and their 145 pounder shows flashes of promise. Vanhook @152 is a fighter who could clean up his mistakes and upset some people come tourney. Wimp @160 is dangerous for anyone he wrestles. @172 and up the kids are hit and miss but show improvement.
  5. Union County has a couple great wrestlers on their team. I think they have a stud at 113 or 120 as well as 126. I think both Kuhn and Davis have what it takes to beat the UC kid at whatever weight he comes in at and it will be a great one to watch. Kuhn vs Mastison is another match that will be great to watch. Nobody is going to touch Ferguson. Reitz will have a good showing but this years best wrestlers are all bunched up in the 106-138 weights so it could go to anyone this year. If Schnarr were wrestling this year he would win this hands down. He isnt wrestling because of a football injury is the news I got.
  6. Thank you for clearing that up. I understand healing and rehabbing an injury. What a shame he is hurt. He is one of the top wrestlers in the area and is one heck of a football player too. I hope his shoulder gets better with no lasting problems.
  7. From what I have heard both Schnarr boys quit. Pretty big let down for the teammates that counted on them. I never understood the mentality of a quitter.
  8. 106 - Ferguson 113 - Brown 120 - Davis 126 - Welch 132 - Wedding with a good probability Johns could crash this party 138 - Hoehn Too many weight options for the rest until we see some matches to see who goes where.
  9. This is a tough job and overall everyone listed is who should be listed no matter the order. Nice work.
  10. Lahue above Welch? Not seeing that one. He is a great wrestler but Welch has the experience edge there.
  11. Reitz starts Tuesday @ Reitz. Lineup is a question. I would guess the lineup is set by now but have no info.
  12. It is never too early to get those two to disagree.
  13. Can we get Wrestleman and Bluebolt to give their picks for top 2 in each weight class?
  14. How is the Castle Sectional shaping up with the new alignment? Predictions on weight classes there?
  15. I agree but Reitz has a knack for it. Alex Johns, vanhook, kuhn, davis and more than likely Ferguson and reese.
  16. From what I have heard in the loop Reese is going 138 lbs
  17. Kuhn will be there in the finals. I would guess Brown from Castle will be there too.
  18. I would agree with the two you picked...add in Johns and a kid named Reese.
  19. I predict 4 SIAC Champions from Reitz High School.
  20. There are several kids that were/are one move away from the title. The kids down here have worked very hard all summer to redeem the last few years. I think there will be some surprise breakouts this season in addition to a already solid group.
  21. He is the most solid kid in Evansville and will be a multiple state champion barring injury. Good call.
  22. Evansville/Castle has some great talent this year. I see 2 great chances for a state champion. Kelly from Central and Welch from Castle are two contenders. There are a handful of Reitz and Mater Dei kids that could creep up and take a title this year along with Wedding from Memorial. Who is your pick to be our hometowns next state champion?
  23. Anyone care to pick some favorites in the Central and Castle Sectionals based off last years weight class if everyone stays their weight? Just to get a early look at who to watch.
