i dont have a prob with a kid who just left it all out there and lost wanting to get out of the public eye as quickly as possible and blow off, but what i think is a real bad example is when a kid wins and beats a tough kid and the winner goes over to shake hands with the opposing coach, and that coach refuses to shake hands or turns his back to the wrestler.. bad examples but i have seen it

i wasnt there and dont have a dog in the fight but my son is a senior and all the stuff that happens to them now along with some good parental guidence develops them into the young man that they are about to become. if you see some behavior that you dont like or agree with, use it as a developmental tool, my son doesnt celebrate much after a win because he doesnt want his opponent to think that it was a big deal to him to have beaten him. that may seem aragant but it comes from one of his heros from iowa. regardless of his reason or were it comes from he always represents himself in a gentlemanly fashion

clint, my son has a 3.56 gpa but our coach is not a member of the coaches group i guess so how does my son get academic all state recognition?

hey washington got robbed in the championsip match at i think it was 138 they always say dont put it in the refs hands just put your opponent on his back but washington put the kid on his back and ref never counted off and never gave him his points i swear i have no idea how that guy is still reffing

ya i understand that and i have been having fun with this. one of my biggest joys is watching my son wrestle. that is coming to an end. and i know i am his biggest fan.i think he is really good and i am really proud i think he going to make a serious run at state. I dont know if you have seen him wrestle or not but keep your eye on him this is gonna be fun

i understand all of that but the teams we wrestle is out of MY hands, i am not a coach i am just a parent, in the off season i hauled these 2 kids to best meets i could find, (folk style state, hyway state, nuway nationals, tournament of champions in columbus ohio, disney duels,) we wrestled and beat a lot of good kids and like wise we have been beaten by good kids. i dont think there are many kids out there with better work ethic they are straight a students and there are starting to be some colleges taking notice. i am not offened i am just proud.. i know there are some other coaches out there that have seen these boys wrestle but its ok the rest will see them soon enough

ok I get that they havent seen anybody this season that is ranked so maybe they dont deserve to be ranked but they do deserve to be talked about. our small school doesnt get much respect or much notice everybody else on here seems to be tooting horns for thier kids. SO SORRY I didnt realize these kids wernt worthy of being mentioned on here. and i was injoying picking on triple B for being a bears fan.

I wasent screaming, I was just typing in my normal tone ha ha. phillips has beaten austin little from north posey and he also beat Big John from washington big john is not ranked but he does seem to be a measuring stick since there is a kid that is ranked and it has big john as one of the noteable wins

trvor phillips has wrestled one that you have ranked at semi state "austin little from north posey" trevor beat him by 1 point.. colt burnette wrestled swade oser from heritage hills at 160 but colt is wrestling at 152 Oser did win a maj dec. colt also defeated jacob franklin of New washington he is not ranked but he was a semi state qualifier last year. burnette also pinned zack adams in the off season last spring

i am sorry i didnt mention that Jacob is a good kid and he has a bright wrestling future, all of the New Washington kids i have ever spoke too, Jacob Franklin, Massingham, and Josh Sampson, all carry themselves like fine young men. It must be a product of thier invironment the coaching staff there is a 1st class group hold on to them

Thank you for noticing, they really are good kids, both of them have dominated so many of thier opponents so many times that it looks like they dont have any compitition. we go to a 5 way meet and they dont even get scored on, and some other kid will pull off an overtime victory and that kid will get the outstanding wrestler award. just makes you wander what do they have to do to get noticed.

we have always known how to use the internet, the problem is, we have to get a little amish boy to peddle a stationary bike to use the internet and he doesnt work well in cold weather. and it is "Colt" like the gun maker not the fb team and by the way the bears suck

and colt like the horse was up 6 to 0 when he gave up the reverse he let jacob have control for a very brief time and then got the reverse colt controlled the whole match and by the way the bears suck

mitchells hwt has beaten austin little from North Posey and another Mitchell boy you should look at is Colt "like the Horse" Burnette he is at 152 and his only loss this season is at 160 to swade oser from Heritage Hills

I would like to know why Colt "Like the Horse" Burnette from Mitchell doesnt even get a metion on here he is 34 and 1 this season he wrestles at 152 his only loss is is to Swade Oser of Heritage Hills at 160... at 152 he has only given up a total of 5 points this year Zack Adams gets a lot of mentions on here but Colt pinned him at the Folk Style State meet last spring.. He also wrestled Isaiah Bradley twice at disney duels this summer.. Bradley did beat him both times but just by a few points..this season Colt has pinned or tech falled all of his opponents but three Oser beat him, Jenneings County, Colt won 8 to 2 and at 160, and New Washington colt beat him 8 to 2... You had better watch out for this kid.. also Trevor "Mongo" Phillips from Mitchell at 285 doesnt get mentioned in your placings either but yet Austin Little from North Posey does get placed twice and Trevor beat Little
