I am and have always been a supporter of many wrestlers in all different clubs. I have a big heart for these kids and I feel like the ones Ive been around are like my own so please lets have a great year. I

Make them kids battle from 112 thru 160 are almost every 5 to 8 pounds you get to the AKA bigger its from 11 to 18 or even higher. I like the change to get more bigger guys out that might of wrestled Jv for example The year Shrewsbury won Krahl could have placed at one of the oposing weights same goes with JRobison at 71 Cooper about the same that year if their was a 82 he would of had a varsity spot and done great. I believe Bemont could have had a similar situation. I agree they shouldnt have taken any away maybe just add the one they did. You still will have great compition in all weight classes.

I believe if Chico would of wrestled college he would of AA he was a athlete for sure not just an over weight kid!!

I believe Sliga will AA in college, from 160 to 200 are tough strong kids I love to watch much more than 103. Maybe they should of just added one weight instead of taking one away as well. Im just a huge wrestling fan and watching Jones wrestle was great for the sport . I believe he got wrestle of tour. in everyone they had just about. I believe Willis could AA in college as well at 74

I agree all should of been left alone weight classes and Team State. But since its over I kinda like watching the Bigger guys the Sligas, Stevensons, Moore, OBriens. ect.

Duckworth vs. Sliga and Jones vs. Atwood seems like some good heavier guys to me. And I think I would of took Sliga in that one.

It was a close match with Atwood, Johnson Jones stuck Sliga in SS Atwood would of probably went 95 he was pretty big at the begining of the season when he beat Jones at North Mont. Either way we are happy with the addition.

And if there was an 82 weight class sligas freshman year he would of won it. Mike Jones was to big and strong.

I was refering to after condioning he was 82 before he was about 190, cutting to 71 is hard before condioning as a senior is still 190 , yes 82 is perfect in his situation. As a SB he wrestled 175 he has not gained much weight, just muscle and loss of baby fat. Thats all I was meaning. I didnt like the comment of the overweight issue some kids are just born bigger they shouldnt have to suffer thats it.

I believe CORE strenth is more important than how physically strong someone is. It all has to come in Play balance, momentium, stregth look at Cooper last year not the biggest kid but had a solid strong core. -
Sorry I had to speak on this I agree with MattM they should of pushed more last year. Why punish the bigger guys. Sorry to interupt your board it just seemed hursh for this guy to say that this new weight class is promoting over weight kids.

You really think this weight class change promotes overweight kids. WoW my so wrestled 89 weighing 82 his freshman year its cutting alot to get to 71 he is weighing 190 now 182 is perfect. Thats just mt opinion.

Why make it such a big ordeal you confuse these kids I personally like them 89 to 71 is a crazy jump with 82 94 and 220 that is perfect for the kids between 200 and 180. What is your problem with the weight change and is ISWA going with the old weight classes or what?

Ips wrestlers that going to make some nosie this year

Charlie McGinley will do well his Senior year. I have high hopes for our Ips wrestlers I coached at Attics we won city had a great team a few years back then the next year they Dr. White cut wrestling and football for Golf. That hurt a great deal. Thats why I love to see Teams like Jeriah step up. Keep putting in the work coaches those boys have alot of determination. Good luck IPS wrestling. I just had to say that, because we spent 6 years in IPS so its close to the heart. -
