I was impressed with how Fletcher wrestled today. He seemed like he was on a mission and was not going to let anyone stop him from what he wanted. He dominated everyone he wrestled. Its too bad Lumpkin couldn't make it to the Championship because I'm sure fletcher would have gotten his revenge. Fletcher proved he was the best wrestler at 189 there.

In the first period when fletcher threw lumpkin, lumpkin had clearly escaped from fletchers first takedown i thought. This would of gave Fletcher 2 for the take down and 3 for the back points. Also the two near fall points lumpkin got in the first period was very questionable, he didn't have control really and fletcher was on his back for maybe a second. If these calls go the other way the match plays out different. Lumpkin did look like he was better conditioned in the 3rd which would win him the match. Im looking forward to the rematch. I think fletcher wins.

Lumpkin is a good wrestler but he got lucky in that match. The scoring was all jacked up. I congratulate him for winning sectionals as a soph.

You act as if fletcher is a out of control person which he is not. I think he got screwed in that match by bad calls but that wasn't the only thing that lost the match for him. After the match he was mad at his self and he did hit the mat but he shook the other wrestler's hand twice before he left the mat. He does get fired up on the mat but he is still a great kid.
