    Ha he actually looks forward to wrestling them just as im sure they looked forward to wrestling him when it was the other way around. ;D If if the ''R'' word your referring to is Recruiting Mater Dei has no part in that. You guys know its done with good ol family tradition. Castle is starting to turn into that. You see Welches, Manns, Daughtrys, and so on 8)

    Look man, you say this but then complain about how you don't have it fair at Garrett. Should I go on about the multi sport athletes that have gone through MD as state champions in Multi sports? The list is crazy and if you would like for me to pull their names up I will be more than glad.

    I would GUARANTEE not all students have lunch money I know this first hand. Look, im not comparing the poverty of MD and Garrett because there are wealthy familys at MD. But its not a ''every family has no problem with money'' kind of thing. Theres a majority of kids who really can't afford it but they go there for the Education and family tradition.

    one more thing Y2, life sucks and its not going to get any easier. Your situation is tough at Garrett but you going to have to make the most of what you have and continue to build good work ethic and attitude and stay on the positive track of things . Take small steps at a time in the positive direction and eventually you will get there. Its always good to see the underdog come out on top. And it will feel that much better when you do because you worked that much harder. Probably the greatest thing about wrestling is when you have put forth the upmost effort and it pays off. Its a personal thing and there is no better feeling.

    1. FYI 100 percent of the families cannot pay 4,200 a year. If i knew how many got financial aid to get into MD I would tell you. They keep that stuff confidential. I sure know its more than your thinking though. If you could look at the financial aid list im sure we would all be suprised how many families recieve assistance. Times are hard. 2. I understand the situation at you school you have obviously vouched and consistently posted about it so I have no other choice. It has all come down to this. Wrestling could be the way to change your school around. Your going to have to make the best of what you have, suck it up, and if you guys have success, you will have kids who grow up with nothing and think hey, I could make a name for myself with wrestling here. Money makes things EASIER, but it does not change a kids work ethic or passion for the sport.

    I was reffering to the smaller school champions. And you do get your occasional 2A and 3A champ in football saying they can take down the 5A champ

    MD returns all wrestlers next year exept for HWT. Sims 3x state placer and Boots placed 4th this year will lead the team Other Varsity returners Grade, and weight from last year Henderson- 2x SSQ 125 (11) Lannert- SSQ 119 (10) Schroeder- 2x SSQ 130 (11) Weinzapfel- 135 (11) Brandenstein- SSQ 160 (10) Raben- SSQ 140 (11) Vanwinkle- SSQ 215 (11) Vibbert- SSQ 103 (11) Wright 189 (9) Goebel 112 (9) And mangold will get a spot next year. Wrestled schroeder off 3 times and 2 went into OT and the other was a 1 pt match. Its lookin good for MD next year

    Im interested into seeing who people will think that will make it to Team State next year. Who's returning? Who are you considering the favorite? Who could upset some teams? Teams on the rise. Im interested to hear it all. I know its a little bit early but alot of people know their stuff. Not trying to be a homer but I got MD winning it all next year only losing one wrestler at HWT ;D

    Just hand MD a trophy every year. Hands down. Then you will have your smaller schools arguing that they are on the same level or are wanting a shot at the big guys. For the current class they do have a shot and if they get it then they can prove themselves.
