It looks like the girl that got the spot came out of the SW regional that only had 5 and didn’t win a single match in her regional. Meanwhile NW had 15 girls and NE had 10. Pardue (Southport) makes it to state 0-4 at regional (SW) losses to #1, #11 and two unranked Ricci (Knox) goes 4-2 (NW) and losses to #5 and #13 with a win against #12 Fernandez (Prairie Heights) goes 3-2 (NE) loss to #6 and #8 win against #15 I don’t understand (or have a dog in the fight to be fair) how this decision was made to include an 0-4 wrestler instead of either of the other 2 5th place wrestlers.
