Personally, I find that to be a great thing as it shows programs are possibly stepping up more and more... I was wondering what the status of local programs were around the state? I know that in years past, the South Western part of the state has seen some programs barely able to field 4 or 5 wrestlers, but they seem to have increasing numbers and are coming back into competitive status...This is nothing but FANTASTIC for our sport! I know we will always have the teams that are 3 or 4 deep in most weight classes...but the overall health of the sport is measured in the number of teams that can field competitive rosters...i.e. fill the available slots.
