WeeMom Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 We sure would like to see some more Cadets and Juniors making it up to the Arabian Folkstyle Open this SATURDAY. We had a decent turnout for high schoolers last year... but we'd love to see some more!! Fax weigh ins are due tomorrow. On site weigh ins are Friday only. See tournament info in the Tournament thread - or at our website www.arabianwrestling.org. OH>>> and it's at the new Middle School this year! We'll have adjoining gyms, one for the big guys, one for the little guys. And, it's MATSIDE pairing, so the tournament goes faster! So who all is gonna be there? Because of the snow, we had quite a few late arrivals for our satellite check in clubs. But... considering the late arrivals, and the fact that we had several wrestlers who couldn't make it to weigh ins (due to the snow) and showed up Saturday morning wanting to squeeze into brackets that had already been posted.... I think starting only an hour late wasn't too bad. The numbers were a little down. I think it had A LOT to do with the crazy snow we had during weigh-ins on Friday night. Since we've started doing matside pairing... it makes the tournament run a lot faster. We had just shy of 300 kids, and were done by 2:30 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
