This past week turned out to be a tough one for me. On Monday I started out with Strep throat which wasn't too bad but then I got bursitis in my knee two days after. Bursitis stinks your knee swells up and just hurts to the touch and applying pressure directly on it hurts a lot. That meant starting on bottom in practice was a killer. I toughed through it and wrestled vs. Liberty on Thursday and Chattanooga on Monday. Despite losing both of those matches, I am still focused on the upcoming conference championships in 10 days.

 

As far as the Rat line. Freshman here are called Rats and what they go through here the first semester is called the Ratline. My mom showed a video of one of the many sweat parties we endured during the Ratline. VMI is unique compared to other military schools because their intitiation process is for a full 6 months instead of a 6 week training camp. Well, ill write more about it later; I'm going to be late to class.
