M109R Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 It would depend on what you or the tribune mean by turning around . Do you mean to Mishawaka'a level ? Then the answer is no . Penn is not that bad year in and year out . You have to figure , there are usually only 3-4 Dominant teams in the state . Mish , Mater Dei , Perry , CP , Cathedral . Usually in any given year , Penn can wrestle with or beat most everyone else . Two years ago , they lost to Bellmont by 1 , Bellmont was in the Team State Finals . They also Beat a highly ranked Bloomington South team . So I'm not sure what you mean by turning the corner . How many teams can compete with Mishawaka ? The Cavemen just beat a Crown Point team with 10 ranked wrestlers , and made it look easy . It will be at least a couple years before Penn is competitive with the Cavemen .
