  1. As I look over your stats I will agree this match up might be a toss up. There are many factors that changed from match #1 and match #2 in 2008. Were the match starts is critical for momentum. This has nothing to do with talent just chance. You stated this was a 5o-50 probability then that means two wins in a row was within the realm of possibility, maybe not probability. What my point was is that Perry had enough and I believe more studs that year. Or maybe better studs. Or maybe more experienced studs. Whatever. My original post was aimed at the comparison made in the news article. I felt it was invalid. 2008 was a squandered opportunity and 2010 well...... you said it "clearly no contest" Your coaching staff needs to work on getting kids ready in the hole! Pre -Preparation of the next guy up. It could be a missing link?????
  2. Seems you would have learned from caliboy about quantitative remarks. It had a lot more to do with than just "one" match. We can break it down later. I would have to do some research.
  3. Yes . Like ice cream splattered on a sidewalk on a hot summer day ;D That's what I meant. NOT. There is no parity at the very top. The difference between first and second is about as wide as Snake River Canyon. Remember what happened there in 1974.? If Evil Knievel had not had a parachute he would have been splattersd on the rocks below. Good luck making that jump!
  4. You sure called that one right! Looked like Custer's Last Stand. No one is going to stop this Mishawaka team.
  5. Big test at 152 with this line up. This should seperate the pretenders from the real deals at this weight class. Better get good film for review come state finals time.
  6. The Indiana Mat needs to employ this guy. Could you do this for the Perry Meridian VS Mishawaka match.
  7. Is your coach a "spin doctor" or what? He should work for Bill Clinton. "If we take a loss so be it" That team 2 years ago had 8 studs this team has 3. What a comparison! Perry was the better team 2years ago. They just did not show up on team state day two years ago. This atricle was meant to pump up the only two guys who can save this team from destruction. Even if Perry 112 and 152 win small Mishawaka has 7 more studs. I will agree it will be a great day."If we take a loss so be it" It won't be the end of the world. Just the end of the day.
  8. Let me qualify that "Northern" Region. Sorry about that. The mantality seems to be the same. Hard nose wrestling!!!!! ;D
  9. Mish by 20 + Near side cradle on a headlocker always works stay low and don't try to win a headlock contest. Mish too strong at multiple weights. Pins will make the difference. No underdog here. This is #1 vs #2. Wish I could be there. Penn is no slouch, just like Bloomington South was no slouch. I have a lot of respect for region wrestling. Might just move to fit my own wrestling mantality. 8) I Love Wrestling !!! :)
