  4. Coach Irwin did an awesome job last night, thanks again for making the trip down. Good group of kids working to improve, 40 guys from Col. East, Seymour and Jennings County. Next week we have Coach Powless from Indiana University coming to run RTC. Local guys come out and get a good mix of live and technique!
  5. Back at it this Thursday with Coach Warthan from the University of Indianapolis running the practice. We have had pretty good groups so far this year. Come out and get better.
  6. This post is just a copy of what another poster put on the NCAA forum on themat. I thought the NCAA coverage this year was outstanding, having each round on TV is a huge step up from no coverage or just the finals as in years past. This was posted by judaspriest. I am sure people (myself included) will always find ways to grumble about something in the coverage, but that's all minor stuff. What is truly impressive this year was that you could see every match online and a lot of matches from every single session on TV. Commentary, improved score / warning / riding etc updates were also very helpful and a huge improvement over what we had in the past. As every year around this time, I am asking everyone who is reading this to let ESPN / Northwestern Mutual know that you greatly enjoyed the coverage and want the same or more next year. Please do take a minute to make yourself heard. ESPN3 - http://broadband.espn.go.com/espn360/watchespn/feedback ESPN - https://r.espn.go.com/members/contact/tvindex Northwestern Mutual - https://service.nmfn.com/webforms/service/GenComments.html Let's not forget to plant the seeds for next year!

  15. Look, Tyson, Y2 is socially awkward. He really doesn't like to communicate face to face, you can forget about any meetings. He would much rather communicate via electronic means... Nothing wrong with that, just the way he is. Via his website/twitter/Facebook he can promote his event much better than anyone else. All the mythical IHSWCA corporation (actually just 4-5 dudes who volunteer tons and tons of their own family time to help wrestling, with no monetary gain for themselves) has to do is let him do it, and pay him a reasonable sum. He will do a good job. He took a startup preseason meet and turned it into a premium, nearly national event, in a few short years. I'm confident he will get it done. He obviously wants to do it, or he wouldn't bring it up, it's what he does and he is good at it. No reason to be d-bags to one another through semi-ambiguous messages. Send each other a pm and be done with it.
