  1. i didn't think that floyd had lost that much talent to be finishing middle of the pack but we ll see. i know a lot of teams would like to have there shot at them.
  2. isn't it about time for DONNIEBAKER to give us some predictions??
  3. WOW!! just checked out the jeff jv results. that's some good wrestling from a b team. congrats to coach struck and the boys.
  4. looks like everyone agrees that jeff, floyd, ce, and jc are the top four teams. how bout the bottom 4?? NA madison bnl seymour maybe one of these teams made a big jump in the offseason. individual matchups of interest? i know a lot of guys are semistate returners. jeffs lower weights vs ce lower weights kelley and shepard weekly vs martin moberly vs hendricks bowen vs jc caum vs hoke
  5. wow. thats a pretty bold prediction considering their recent dominance in this thing but they did loose a lot of kids last year. ive not seen east wrestle so i don't know about their strength. i saw jeff and i think they are better than last year. jc might be the most improved. they were looking very good at the end of last year. who is hosting the sites on friday night and saturday?
  6. STARSMAN - how has youre team done so far? not seen any results. na either. jeff looked tough at capital city. lots of guys in the finals. jennings county had a solid turnout this weekend. heard floyd has a bunch of kids out and are going to be very solid. im still calling a close one between jeff and floyd with the limit results im seeing. i think im takin jeff in a down to the wire dual. jennings county will be right in there tho. hard to try to predict the others with what weve seen so far. looks like were in for some great wrestling this weekend!
  7. chindrop ---- not sure where u get your info but i looked at the hhc results last year and dont see no one from fc named blackwell thats a senior. last years guy was a senior.
  8. anyone besides jeff going to post possible lineups?? be interesting to see where everyone is going and who has full teams. how are the stars looking starsman? saw some of the kids looking good in freestyle this summer.
  9. jennings county looked tough at the end of last year and ce looked to be coming to form. i think they got second in the conference tournament. heres my team predictions based on what i remember of people returning. jeff fc jennings county columbus east madison new albany bnl seymour
  10. HHC duals in about a month. Always some good wrestling early in the season. Who are the individuals to watch out for and who is the team to beat?
  11. i agree that struck may be starting a dynasty at jeff. he by far has the best program top to bottom right now in the area and is getting very good numbers out. i wouldn't overlook fc though. they had a great middle school program. they manage to be competitive for first every year and word is they have broght in some new coaches to try to get there edge back.
  12. i heard samuels was back at fc coaching but i think it is his brother. did he transfer?
  13. i spaced on providence. they are always tough but cookie left so we'll see how they do. 1 jeff 2 floyd 3 na - my pick to improve the most over last year 4 charlestown 5 providence there are a lot of good wrestlers in this sectional, not meaning weak overall. just team wise. half the teams can't fill roster spots or just bring 5 or 6 guys. last year guys were getting byes into the regional round. i think floyd and jeff sent about 12 wrestlers each to semi state last year and got 1 through between them.
  14. this sectional is rediculously weak. jeff, floyd, charlestown, and new albany will send most of the kids. corydon will have a couple. real question is which team will be the one to be beat. jeff surprised everyone by domiating last year. they lost a few key pieces but had a huge jv team. charlestown was tough but you never know until january about them. new albany was getting tougher. i think floyd might be the best team again from what i saw with their middle school last year. they were very tough. they folded last year but i would look for them to bounce back big time this year. they might still be a year away though. 1 jeff 2. floyd 3. na 4. charlestown 5. corydon
