Friday, January 21st at 7 pm (est) The Purdue Boilermakers play host to the Golden Gophers of Minnesota. There will be some great matchups with ranked wrestlers matching up in several weights.

Just wanted to make sure I put it out there our first Home match is vs. Missouri on December 12th @ 12:00 pm, this match will be live on the Big Ten Network. I wanted to put a challenge out to all of our wrestling fans to pack the IAF. Coach Erikson

Yes they will be open to the public. The Blake Wrestling Training facility is located in Lambert Field House which is right next to Mackey Arena. There will be some very good matches so if you are curious to see our boys get after it make plans to attend.

We are asking the Big Ten to make an announcement that we will indeed give us the Championships next year, until then we wait.

I wonder if this means they are going to cancel the Indoor Big Ten Track and Field Championships that are going to be held at Purdue the week before the Wrestling Championships where to be held. Yes I am bitter!

I am looking for help to announce that the Assistant Wrestling Coaches Position is available at Purdue and that all candidates need to go to the Purdue Web site to get further information and qualification requirements. This position will be open to all applicants who qualify dispite what some people may think and I look forward to making sure the interview process goes through. I have posted this on the College Board (where it belongs) but need help in posting it on the other wrestling boards on other sites. It is with Sadness that I announce that Glen Lanham will be taking the Head Assistant Coaches position at Duke University, I wish Glen and his wife Melanie all the happiness in their move back to North Carolina. In saying that I wanted to make it known that the Assistant Coaching Job is open and you must go to the Purdue Website to get further information. We are going to be without 98lbs. in both styles as neither was contested at the State Meets. I will cross over some Greco guys to fill our Freestyle Roster but I have to say Greco is going to be hurting and it is sad as we have some real studs competing.
