  1. I would love for somebody to clear up my ignorance. What high school does Indy West feed into? The others I recognize. Thanks.
  2. Not having the flyer in front of me I think it did state that only one wrestler per team and a weight and no all star teams. I believe CIA would qualify as an all star team. I always had the impression that this tournament was for the middle school programs not clubs. The regular ISWA, USA, Borderwars, and etc fill that gap. If I am mistaken then somebody please correct me.
  3. After scanning the brackets there were quite a few additions. If they were allowed to late register then whats the purpose of a deadline? like I mentioned before the conspiracy theroy may hold some water. Wonder if certain favors were granted?
  4. Are the brackets finialized yet? These changes keep happening the conspiricy nuts will start coming out.
  5. Is registration closed? I think some people got the idea it is open until midnight tonight. Trackwrestling has it closing at 11:59PM.
  6. Maybe a qualifiers type setup would come into play. This may actually get more wrestlers involved since it would be regional at the start. I'm pretty sure Illinois does it that way but not 100%. I would agree we are close to being a two day event. Crossing my fingers that we are done before midnight.
  7. As we approach over 500 wrestlers for this Sundays' middle school state when does a tournament become too big for one day? I bring this up since the last two years the middle school state has run very late into the night. Some weights will have 50+ wrestlers and others will be well into the 40's (I wish all the weights had that many). If the tourny was on a Saturday the time is less of an issue. I only ask the question just to get a feel if 14+ hours of wrestling is pushing it. It gets to be a logistics problem for the toruny directors since they have to arrange for table help, referee's, facilities maintenence, security, and of course match flow. Food for thought. Have it over two days? Limit amount of entries from schools to two per weight class? Have a middle school regionals? I think Illinois has qualifiers, can somebody comfirm that?
