if the official wouldn't have stopped the match both wrestlers would have kept on wrestling. but you give a kid a cop out why shouldn't he take it, to me that is where his coaches should step in and evaluate the situation better than what was done.

never considered that, good point. i like the crawfordsville gymnasium you can sit or stand on all side of all mats. northmont you cramped into one side with like 16 different schools. gets hot and heated being that close to people cheering for your wrestlers opponent. if it could be arranged i think most people would be in favor.

a questionable slam was called and given the opportunity to advance a freshman, took an injury default victory. it looked to me from my view he landed on his right shoulder. i watched him for a while to see if he was faking. he spit in a bucket for about half an hour and took baby steps when he got up. the freshman if supposedly hurt that badly should have gotten x-rays on something and nothing is going to heal quick enough if he is hurt that bad that he will have a chance with a regional champion at new castle first round. the senior is one of the most personally liked wrestlers as far a sportsmanship. he had two prior losses one being an injury loss of his own. the freshman had 10 losses on the year. records don't say everything until the one loss eliminates you from the state tournament.

crawfordsville high school is only 15 minutes from north montgomery high school and the gymnasium is much better for fans to view the wrestling. north montgomery host it nicely they just need more seating and there is no where to stand and watch any wrestling unlike at crawfordsville. much better restroom accomodations also.

there are to many small school coaches to get recognized, that deserve it. the big schools with more athletes are the only ones to get attention state wide.

a poor officiating call sends a senior #1 seed at 135 home so a #4 seed freshman can forfeit his next to matches and advance to semi-state. meanwhile between rounds the freshman gets high fives in the stands. i saw the call and didn't believe it, and when the wrestler was given a victory i felt ashamed for the coaches. they should have done what was right for the senior, because one day they were seniors and they lost theres on there own, they didn't have theres taken away from them.
