    Might as well just not invite the Evansville Semi-State to even come to Conseco. All you Northerners (most of the people on this board) are completely counting the southern part of the state out of it already. No way a kid like Alex Johns can beat the big, bad 119's from the north right? Ridiculous. Wait and see!!

    Who are the teams in bracket "B" that have little chance of competing? And who is to say that they have little chance of competing. People said that the Arizona Cardinals had no chance of winning a single game in the playoffs and look where they ended up. Opinions are always skewed.

    Oscar, If we go by your theory, we need to go back to the history of Indiana wrestling and take away the runner-up titles from all the individual runners-up because they didn't earn that title because we don't see the individual tournament either. The two "best" guys could meet in the semi-finals...both being semi-state champs put in the same half of the state bracket. Listen to what your momma told you when you were younger, SOMETIMES LIFE ISN'T FAIR!

    Why would you base it on last year's results when teams have different kids at different weight classes? That makes no sense at all. The question remians...who is going to seed them? And why can't I compare it to football? The complaint was that a "true" runner-up can't be established this way. A "true" runner-up can't be established the way the football post-season is set up. Why not change that? Take the 8 Sectional champions in each class and seed them. More travel is required but pretty close to the same if you ask me.

    That's just how it works out sometimes. What about last year in 4A football when Reitz had to beat Columbus East and then Cathedral. Lowell was the runner-up when theres no way in the world they would've beaten CE or Cathedral. Who do you think would rank the teams? There's no possible way to do it.

    jslsrhs607 get your ears checked. From what I hear, that's not what was said by either coach from a very credible source. Several people have been asked that were matside and only one person (Reitz asst) said that there was foul language. No officials heard it and Coach Ferguson didn't hear it. Maybe he thought he heard something that he didn't. Maybe a few rows up is a little too far away for you. As for the poke in the eye, Ritter tried to get it called in the first period by backing away and grabbing at his eye. They will see each other again I'm sure.

    Thank angryirishman. Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. Don't worry about cool points on here. We who know you know that you're cool, Nick. I mean, how many guys have announced state finals matches live on the radio from the floor at Conseco?? You're the only one that I know of and that's definitely cool.

    Blue Bolt, All of your cool points should be taken away for having 4 consecutive posts and putting a smiley face to your own comment. Laughing at your own bad joke is definitely NOT cool. But to answer your question, Hufford did wrestle Castle at the Castle Invitational but he wrestled at 140 and was pinned by CHAD Welch. DOUG Welch is the 135.

    Funny thing is that Blue Bolt doesn't even have access to the brackets yet. And won't until they come out in the C&P when everyone else gets them.
