Well, if the wrestler is a Mormon he might very well be on a mission, because, you know, that's what Mormons do.
Bradley, not Osmond...
-
Common misconception. There is nothing in the rule book that says this.
I think back in the day there was...
-
I'm sick of hearing, "So and so is on a mission."
EVERYONE IS ON A MISSION. If you weren't you wouldn't put it in the blood, sweat, and tears it takes to wrestle.
OK by all means, Bradley's on a mission like eveyone else... whatever.
My pick is Bradley!
-
Que and Mix, first round will be a barn burner at 112.
-
The last time I saw Bradley, he seemed to be on a mission...Bradley.

Can't Y2 make a special page jsut for the class wrestling topic. Then suspend them if they discuss class wrestling outside of that page--kind of like the results page ;D
I think the topic should be deleted whenever brought-up...

If you look at ccbig's profile pic of the high crotch, the thrower never leaves his feet. The thowee goes flyin' through the air, but the thrower places the throwee on the mat, not through the mat...
The placement of the throwee shouldn't be done with bad intent.
-
after his performance today I agree he does! Congrats and good luck Nick
Thanks coops99.

Hmm a 48 year old man making that comment, are u a registered sex offender? Or have you yet to be caught yet? kidding, atleast i hope i am.
Get your head out of the gutter >

It was on the high school network. Some good wrestling!
-
Nick Crume is o.k. all he does is stall then captialize when the other wrestler actually tries to wrestle he doesnt do anything my boy wrestled him in the summer and lost to Nick 2-0 OT because Nick stalled and stalled then got a lucky break on a shot my son took
Yeah, I remember that match, it was tight. It was at the Jimtown Folkstyle. I think they also wrestled later at Bellmont... and there wasn't any stalling that time...
-
I just have to say that with some of the characters on this message board and the title of the topic, I'm proud that everyone showed restraint and maturity and didn't drag things into the gutter. Bravo Indianamat.com board members!!
Thank you....

Watch out for Deering of Mishawaka Marian. He is a transfer from Jimtown, and is making some waves. He just won the 215 class at the Culver Military Tourney this past weekend. He has to wrestle Lentz in the second round, they both have byes, so I would expect him to wrestle back tough in the loser's bracket.
Robert Deering, I miss that kid! Go get 'em Robert!

Yeahhhhh, definitely a guy from India beat Dustin Schlatter at Worlds last year and Judge Wapner's on at five... ;D
-
Doesn't Alaska have all girls wrestling teams now?
After Michaela Hutchinson, the boy's probably came up with that idea...
-
im going with nick crume from jimtown at 112. he is a very solid wrestler
He's one of my favorites...
-
Anyone else find it ironic that this thread was started by a guy named duck and run?
1) I thought the name "duck and run" was kind of ironic myself.
2) I think it's funny that someone would say that a state champ would run from competition...
3) If he's signed to wrestle for a college, the college more than likely has told him where they wanted him to be weight-wise.

Top seed Sarah Hildebrandt could very well be on her way to a sectional championship...
-
My picks for the Elkhart Sectional!
103 - Dominic Garrett - Jimtown 145 - Alberto Rios - Elkhart Memorial
112 - Austin Maynard - Goshen 152 - Zack Corpe - Elkhart Memorial
119 - Stephen Ross - Concord 160 - Francisco Garcia - Goshen
125 - Kevin Kelly - Elkhart Memorial 171 - Alex Hostetler - Fairfield
130 - Collin Crume - Jimtown 189 - Brandon Dillenbeck - Goshen
135 - Jeremy Hill - Jimtown 215 - Brandon Daniels - Goshen
140 - Ryan Ntende - Goshen 275 - Jacob Clark - Goshen
Team sectional champs - GOSHEN finally gets one over Elkhart Memorial!!!!
I might be a little bias though! ;D ;D ;D ;D
At the semi final round, Maynard (Goshen) and Martz (Fairfield) will be a good match!
-
Yeah, someone finally got them posted. Right on! It's gonna be fun that's for sure!
-
Are they not loaded yet, you can open it to the list of all the sectionals but you can't open any individual sectionals??
Hey Wrestlinghog, any word on them Elkhart sectionals yet?
-
it is true, and yes it is sad
I talked to him at Elkhart Memorial earlier this year and thought that he was a very nice young man, seemed to have it together, and was built like a brick. That's a waste...

Before the days of securing one's laces, I remember some wrestlers had so clled "magic laces" those laces seemed to know exactly when their user was gassed and come untied. I swear sometimes the wrestler would even double knot his laces after they came untied the first time, but I'll be darn, the laces would somehow magically come untied again, just at the moment the wrestler was gassed again.
It seems like every since the IHSAA has mandated that ones laces be taped or secured, that many wrestlers began using injury time to rest up from their lack of conditioning.
Come to think of it you don't see anymore breaks for shoe laces, but I've seen complete shoes coming off! There sure isn't any lack in breaks otherwise is there? I have seen this year some of the refs not allowing this type of thing to happen, by telling the wrestler to speed it up between whistles...
-
Yeah, I'm partial... Jimtown has a pretty good spread...
