I agree they are trying to cut wrestling and rifle. They say that will cover the 30% cut. I know as a parent of a wrestler there is no possible way that they account for 15% of the athletic budget. Another reason they gave is that wrestling and rifle are not a conference sport in the HCAC so they are easier to drop. Their are three teams in the HCAC that have wrestling Mt. St. Joe, Manchester, and Rose. It just sucks that my son will be a senior next year and they are possibly not going to have a program.

That is correct! But the current wrestlers/parents are trying to fight it and it is not a completely done deal that I know of. It is a real shame!
