1975 155lbs State Champion Steve Reid of Ben Davis vs the Southprt wrestler, I belive his last name was Pittman, not sure tho. They meet in a dual meet, and in the finals at the county, conference (?), sectionals, regionals and state. Reid winning all but one of the matches, including the state championship.

It's all in the wording, you have to be careful how you phrase things. As of Jan 2, the 2lb allowance is in effect for the rest of the year. On any 2nd consecutve day of wrestling, you 1 additional lb. If you use the phrase 3lbs, sure enough someone will think they get an additional 3 lbs on the second day, please be careful so there is no misunderstanding.

The Courie Times in New Castle has great coverage of wrestling, course it helps that one of the sports writers has a son in the club wrestling on the elementary team.
-
you always get 1 additional pound for the 2nd straight day of wrestling, even before the 2lb growth allowance date

Fruitchillers, I dont know which freshmen you are talking about, so let's discuss the 3 freshmen that are ranked the highest. 103lber, Campbell from New Castle, Middle School state champ last year, currently undefeated with wins at 103 and 112. Tsirtsis from Crown Point and Mullins from New Castle, both 3 time MS state champs, Mullins with convincing win over Kieffer of Roncalli. All 3 of these freshmen are deserving of their rankings.

hard to find a venue in the Indy area that is affordable. the ISWA has definately tried, the costs can be staggering.
-
what is the date for this meet?
-
Also at the 2004 Olympic Trials, Coach Dulaney and the ISWA spotlighted a lot of young IN wrestlers by putting on Greco and Freestyle demonstrations during intermissions.

New Castle and Yorktown both 5-0. 112lbs exciting, Jackson and Kiefer match very exciting with Kiefer winning 7-4. Mullins led Kiefer 9-1 at end of first period and increased lead to 12 pts before winning 17-10, gave up a couple of tds in third after getting kicked in face during scramble, nothing intentional or flagerant, just 2 kids not wanting to lose going at it hard.

the official book was 33-33, New Pal winning on 1st criteria. NC wrestler was called for a misconduct for a headbutt and Coach Peck forfieted the match due to wrestlers attitude, otherwise match score would have been 33-30 in favor of NC

I have to agree with Wilman being a great young coach. Tri made a good selection hiring Jerry Ingalls also.
