  1. Y2, Thanks for the info but I think that I am questioning, what is a safe return. I don't want to see anybody ever get injured but I know that it happens. I am sure that for the most part, any wrestler that picks up his opponent is not intentionally going to try to slam him back to the mat. The safe return is what I am wondering about.
  2. Man sorry to hear that P-Town. I would have to think that if I am heading back down head first, I would put my hands out to break my fall.
  3. But if you lift them up and turn and them slam them full force I can understand that. Is is strictly a judgement call?
  4. I remember that too Charlie. I was sitting there with your Dad and Mr. Willis when you and Tyler won. Harvey and Todd are both great kids too. By the way, I haven't seen that many fans at any Tech game/match since Landon Turner was there in the late 70's. Good to see all that support there at Tech.
  5. Could somebody explain a illegale body slam to me? If you have your hand or arms underneath the opponent when they are coming back down to the mat, is that helping them back down to the mat? Not for sure. That is why I am asking. Thank You
  6. I like both of them but I think that it is Mason's turn. He should have beaten him in Middle School State but it seemed like there was about a half hour of time in the match to stop the bleeding. Not taking anything away from Harvey but I don't think there was enough tape and gauze in the gym to stop the bleeding from Harvey's nose. It will be a great match at Regionals this year and I think that Mason will come out on top.... Lordy they are good people..........
  7. That little Swiggert kid is no push over either...
  8. god man, seriously, stay off this board if u don't have a clue what u are talking about, Milton will be the toughest wrestler in that gym on sayurday... ha will win easily, very easily. mockerman will be put out in a blink of an eye. oh yea, no one said kolb will lose, unless i go dress up like a deer and run around his house ha. That was very classless. I hope that you are not an adult posting on here. I can see that coming from a child as we all did things that we regret. There is nothing wrong with his gas tank at all. He can't help it that there is no competition around this area for him. He is dealing with what he has been dealt to him and he is doing very well with it. I just can't see why a few people have a problem with some kids that make a mistake and don't let them live that down. Good God, we all make mistakes and deserve another chance.
  9. There is also a new man at Avon named Snyder (285) that wrestles like he is at 145. Seen him win his win first match at Sectionals and what a good kid. Beat a 3 and 4 seed to fisish 3rd. Even if he doesn't go deeper into the field it almost brought tears to your eyes to see him win. Go ahead and wrestle him toe to toe and see what happens....Love Ginter hollering out "Come on, What are you waiting for..." Wrestle........He got beat but there was no lack of heart. What a great story.....
  10. Extra6 why don't you let us see your predictions here? I think this is pretty much all in fun like fantasy football. So far all you have done is tell everybody how wrong they are.......Come on.....Do it....
  11. Is it the same way for State?
  12. I wasn't trying to piss anybody off but if this kind of stuff does, man you might want to step back and take a look at yourself. By the way, Judy was on his way to dismantling Guernsey before the match got called for a injury default.

  15. Why Boots has not been ranked all year, we will never know.....I have been asking this all year.....What gives?????
  16. Dang Old 82!!! The brackets are out. You started this mess and you still haven't put your picks on here.......What Gives???????
  17. I agree with you D-Train but when you fall short on one goal you must set another and the cycle continues. The real test for most is when these young men get out of school. That is when the real test will come, weather they keep wrestling, continue their education, go into the Military or just want to get on with their lives and succeed in life. They are all champions and our future. I hope that they all succeed and pass down what they have learned or learn. I am sure that for the most part they will pass down morals, traditions and heart. Thank God, parents and coachs/teachers for what they have done and will do. Great season this year and let the fun begin...
  18. I think that there are a few more kids that could make some noise there also. Swigert, Gibson and Hacker from Mooresville, Schoolcraft from Martinsville, Waters from Greenwood and how about Mappes from Center Grove? Just a few. Should be a great sectional and I know it will be a great Regional there as well. Go Mid State......
  19. Is Montgomrey from TH going to be at 140 next weekend? Good to see Mr. Wright back.
  20. What are your picks Old82?
