If you are going to bring all that, AND we have a foot of snow on the ground, talk to me, I am sure for the price of the drive, and sidewalks, I can get you down to conseco by 5:30 AM. Heck I might even spring for a cup of coffee on the way.

Not sure if he has them right or not, but it seems to me that the people here in central Indiana dont care that much about rankings. Personally, I think they are nice, but in the end that only thing they do is put a target on your back, but most likely no more then was there anyway. If you are good the good guys know who you are and what they are going to have to do to win. If you are a freshman, or a move in and peole dont know much about you, again, if you are good they will know about you soon enough, and the rankings wont matter.

Having said this, thanks coach Thornton, for the effort and work you put into them.

Until someone beats him Harper has got to be the #1 ranked kid. I dont know enough about Tsirtsis, other then what I read on here, so I would put him 4th for that reason. As for Cashe, and Brandon, both are outstanding wrestlers. I would give the edge to Cashe just because he is a senior, but this is a bout that I would enjoy being there to see. Both have hugh gas tanks, and I enjoy watching their aggressive attacking style. This could be a 1-0 match, or a 20-19 match. Either way, I would expect that if they wrestle 10 times, in my opinion Cashe would win atleast 6 of them. But you know what they say about opinions.

OK, just to make sure here What on earth is so funny about someone "checking the oil", or a zit popping in the mouth... Dont any of you have stories that say involve someone doing something that is not disgusting.

Since I have a horrible memory I can only remember one thing, I am sure most of you have seen something just as bad.

During one of my sons middle school matches, the ref was a rather rotund fellow, the parents of both schools were tallking in the stands, and were actually afraid that he might hurt one of the kids when he went to the mat to check on a fall at some point in the meet. We soon found out that we had nothing to worry about, as during the first match, he called the fall with his foot while standing, and not once during the meet did he ever go to the mat to call anything. It got to the point where parents from both schools were trying to call the fall from the stands with our feet. It was maybe the most fun meet we ever went to. He was so ridicules that we all had a rather good time wondering how he would screw it up next.

I can only speak from my own past here. My son came into high school weighing in at 96 pounds as a freshman, he could have stepped omn the scale with a big mac in his hand eating the entire way. he did not have to cut to get to 103. His soph. year was a bit harder, but he managed. I would say keep the 103, and add some to the upper weight classes to reduce the large weight seperations. I would rather see us go to 16-17 weight classes, and give more kids the chance to get on the mat.

Thanks Joe, this site looks like a winner, now I have a reason not to get to all the things around the house that I should be doing instead of reading about the wrestling community.

They are a very tough team, they work very hard all season long, and it shows. From top to bottom, if you wrestle a kid from Cathedral, they are going to give you a work out. So yes, there are that many good kids wrestling at Cathedral.
