Oh MY GOSH! I lost ALL my cool points and went in the negative since I posted on this stupid thread!! And... I'm the Wahoo Fairy - and I can't even help myself!!!! Somebody is just plain evil!

If anyone knows how to get in touch w/ his parents, please let them know that Rob and Lorrie Wilson (Andrew's parents) are praying for and wishing Brenden well. We are so sorry that his season is ending this way - and were really looking forward to seeing him at state this year. Brenden is an AWESOME kid!

I shake in my boots worrying about the Boo Nazi! I find myself carefully reviewing each post 2-3 times, to make sure I'm not going to offend anyone. (Which doesn't work, by the way.) I, myself, an a "Wahoo Fairy" - doling out Wahoo's to anyone who finds themselves weighed down by negative cool points. So, now... you, BB145 have been blessed by the Wahoo Fairy!

No disrespect intended... but please please please .... Tyler's last name is "Gadient".... without an R! My apologies for the correction - it's just an obsession I have about saying people's names right! (Just ask my husband. I correct him all the time, and it drives him nuts!) If we're going to be talking about someone who is most likely going to be in the finals at Regionals... let's get it right! (Did I lose any cool points?) :'(

Holy Cow! No Lovitt and No Cameras!! What is the world coming to? That is heartbreaking to hear that neither Lovitt nor Rutledge will wrestle. Seriously. For ANY wrestler to train all year and not get to do post season has got to be really disappointing.

LOL! Andrew is pretty fired up, too! Let's just shoot for a Gadient/Wilson match up in the finals, alright?! None of that 3rd and 4th stuff again, huh? See ya on Saturday!

Dustin Carter is incredible. I remember watching that CBS News Special. I'd like to be able to see the 4 guys who were able to figure out how to beat Carter. Obviously - it would take an uncommon and incredibly adept wrestler to figure out how to wrestle him, when it would be pretty difficult to get him off balance. The weight distribution is so different. You couldn't use some of the most basic moves... taking shots, trying to drive him off balance. Even turning him would be hard. But... my opinion may be formulated because I'm really just learning. So..educate me... What approach would you use to get a victory against Carter?

Just a wee bit nervous! Now's when it all counts!! Very much looking forward to Sat. no matter what though. Can't wait to see how PH stacks up to the end of the season competition!

Both Blanton and Powell will be ones to watch at 112, too. Blanton almost pinned Wilson at the County Tournament - but then Wilson came back and went on to win it something like 20 - 14. If scores say anything... you can tell the whole match was a scramble!! (And a scary one for a momma to watch.) Powell is always strong too. Not sure what his record is - but he is definitely tough. Anyone that thinks any 112 is a shoe in for Sectional title - needs to think again. Sectionals at 103 last year was a testament to that. I think Gadient was #1 seed, Wilson #2, Lanning #3 and Powell #4. Everything was turned around by the end of the day. Lanning beat Wilson. Powell beat Gadient. Then Wilson beat Gadient. Final results: 1. Lanning, 2. Powell, 3. Wilson and 4. Gadient. And, yes... Gadient came back to beat Wilson early this season. But, we're hopin' it turns out the other way around at Sectionals! (Still love ya though, Tyler!) :-*

I would hate to see the elimination of 103 - since our team has THREE kids who qualify for this weight class!

I was actually at a friendship meet for our youth club. Some of our high school boys were going to officiate - and they were trying to untangle the glob of whistles that probably had been thrown in a box in a jumble after our open folkstyle tourney last year.

Oh - I've got another one to add... The other day, I was talking about "untangling whistles"... but I said "untangling wrestlers" instead.

Sounds like we need a top 20 list! BTW, I LOVE the additions that Blue Bolt, FF and McMurray made to the list! Have to be honest, though...Thank God I don?t have Sean?s problem!!
