  1. Very good possibility.......I am riding up with a Mater Dei Grad ;D
  2. That's an option - but if I choose to do so - I will be sitting in my truck, window down, with the heater on full blast
  3. 103: Kuhn, Hall, Appell, Lawalin 112: Moody, Brown, Griesemer, Leimkuehler 119: Johns, Schroeder, Flynn, McEllhiney 125: Reuger, Henderson, Konrath, Sulawske 130: Seitz, Girten, Burkhart, Wolf 135: Welch, DeHaven, Weinzapfel, Wade 140: Simms, Welch, Hoehn, Voegel 145: Richard, Zenthoefer, Boyle, Marshall 152: Ritter, Stein, Weiss, Pettijohn 160: Easterling, Weikel, Edge, Haire 171: Wedding, Mann, Choate, Boots 189: Rosebrock, Carlisle, Price, Adams 215: Robison, Ruggeri, Wimpleberg, Kercher 285: White, Borkowski, Daugherty, Carlisle
  4. Weiss bumped up to wrestler Ritter back in November - Weiss won I think by 1 pt. Ritter has not wrestled Stein.
  5. You're the man Y2 - this gives me something to do between side bets at the super bowl party ;D
  6. Matchick, I had to run the numbers to see how we did - UNFORTUNATELY Bluebolt dominated our contest on the strength of picking 9 winners (3pts. each)! Bluebolt: 44 Spiralride1: 37 WMC0809: 35 Jon H: 35 Matchick76: 34 I tried to look at it a different way to see if I could win - it didn't work - but Bluebolt did drop down significantly. I just looked at the top 3 picks in any order and awarded 1 pt. (total possible 42) WMCO809: 36 Spiralride1: 35 Jon H: 34 Bluebolt: 30 Matchick76: 28
  7. From the IHSAA site: 8. Jasper, 6 pm ET Match 1: Southridge vs. Jeffersonville. Match 2: Evansville Mater Dei vs. Castle. Championship: Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2.
  8. Should be a great match-up at the super regional - the starting weight will be key. I have the match split 7-7 with bonus points making the difference. Also, I noticed 4 (MD/CA) match-ups in the first round of the individual regional: 112, 130, 152, & 285.
  9. I would expect the (MV/ME) rematch next week at 285. Memorial was on a roll in the finals and I think it carried over to the Heavyweight match. They took 4 in and walked away with 4 champs!
  10. I believe MV was 8 of 9 in 3rd place matches - WOW - that's impressive. That Earned them the 2nd place team finish. Congrats!!
  11. I was hoping you had forgotten about that :-[
  12. I will post unofficial results of the top 4 - so I'm not putting this on the results page. 103: RE, HA, MD, ME 112: RE, CE, MV, MD 119: RE, MD, MV, CE 125: MD, RE, MV, NO 130: NP, HA, MV, MD 135: ME, MD, MV, RE 140: MD, MV, RE, NO 145: MD, MV, RE, ME 152: RE, MD, CE, ME 160: ME, MD, MV, CE 171: ME, MD, MV, CE 189: NO, NP, ME, MV 215: MD, RE, MV, ME 285: ME, MV, MD, CE Team: MD - 286 MV - 220.5 RE - 216.5 ME - 201
  13. Thanks Chambers - I couldn't remember how many get seeded - top 6 make sense - thanks again
  14. Matchick, I just realized my last post was #100 - give me a wahoo!! I would normally get some love from Bluebolt - but he must be without power - I havn't heard from him in a while
  15. Matchick, I could be completely wrong and I'm sure someone will point that out quickly!!! If I remember right? They seed the top 4 or 5 then randomly place the remaining 5 or 4? This would explain the #1 seed at 160 not necessarily getting a bye.
  16. OK matchick - I appreciate your picks and I agree with most of them. This will be a lot of fun - let's see who gets the most correct out of the top 3. We will count 3 (1's) , 2 (2s) and 1 (3's) 103: RE, HA, MD 112: RE, MD, MV 119: RE, NP, MD 125: RE, MD, NO 130: NP, MD, RE 135: MD, ME, RE 140: MD, MV, RE 145: MD, RE, MV 152: RE, MD, CE 160: MD, ME, RE 171: ME, MV, MD 189: NP, RE, NO 215: MV, MD, RE 285: MV, ME, MD
  17. Matchick, Post your top 3 predictions and I will follow up.
  18. Chambers, Wow, US Rednecks on the Westside would've have taken over the bus and made it to the sectional on time
  19. With school already cancelled for tomorrow - is the Sectional in jeopardy of being postponed? Does Central have electricity?
  20. I will take a stab at the #1's 103: GS 112: CA 119: TC 125: HH 130: CA 135: CA 140: CA 145: CA 152: PR - HH - CA (stacked class) 160: CA 171: CA 189: CA 215: CA 285: HH
  21. fire77, I agree, I would love to see wrestlebacks but we will take what we can get.
  22. My picks from the other thread were pretty close - I could've saved the coaches some time 215 Rugerri a 3rd seed was a little surprising to me but I guess his injury or whatever hurt his seed - good break for Kercher. 171 Choate seems to be a solid 2 to me - but the late start may have dropped his stock somewhat. 135 Dehaven - no big surprise here but it could've went a couple of different ways. 125 Henderson / Konrath should be a great semi-final match.
  23. Good one MD66! Was that a hit and run? Surely, you won't go through the trouble of getting a screen name for one post and done! I agree somewhat that rankings don't matter (since a lot of teams don't send info in a timely manner or at all) and everyone does go into the sectional at 0-0. However, even with upsets, the champions are usually well known to the wrestling enthusiasts 8) I'm traveling this week and will not be able to monitor the board as often as I like > I will catch up on the all the chatter late in the evenings.
  24. Nutsdad, I tend to agree. These are NOT my predictions. (I'm still working on them :-\) I just tried to guess what the seeds would be.
