Why is MD in big trouble? They will, like they always do, fill Maurers' spot, if this is indeed true. They are still loaded with talent.    As far as the Welch twins go I can confirm that they will be wrestling this weekend in the Castle Invite. Castle only has about 17 kids out this year. So Chad And Doug might be bumped up to fill spots. I know that the younger Welch is at 119, He lost the wrestle off to Brown, and will be wrestling JV...........Now walk the dog. whisperer......or let it walk you

surpised Weiss is going 171 he looked kinda small at 152 last year, but that was from the stands, he might have bulked up for football though

I had Tito winning the 1st and 2nd rounds.  He was gassed in the 3rd and got dominated. 

Im glad Koshceck won, he looked good, i thought Johnson was going to win

Lil Nog looked great and Cane looked horrible

Saunder had a huge upset against Marcus Davis

Rosholt looked good up until he got caught in the triangle

Amir and Baroni was prolly second best fight of the night. 

McCammon graduated in 04 wrestled at USOEC  for a year and did well.

Walker    has done great freestyle but has been injured for 3 years and hasnt did anything in high school, this is his year to prove himself

Hyatt- quit wrestling to play basketball

Fuderich-lost 1st round of state by one point to the 6th place guy,  if he gets a good draw at eville ss he will go to state again

Brooks- i think grad. 2 years ago  a pretty good HWT.  3rd/4th place finisher at M. D. 

Their is also a former freestyle state champ walking the halls and not wrestling

Nickerson is the only person standing in between Angel and a National title

about 3 or 4 of these matches could go either way

yea he has somethin else but its secret between him and the UFC.

The UFC has been hit with the injury bug and it just keeps getting worse.

I am suprised their is no thread about Courture and Vera

Vera had a knockdown and he mounted Randy, however Randy controlled nearly every second of the fight.  I had Vera winning the 2nd and the other rds were a draw. 

GSP will smash Dan Hardy, Hardy hasnt impressed me with any of his fights in the UFC.  He hasnt fought top 10 fighters yet and he gets a title shot, i dont get it. 

I have been a Forrest fan every since season 1 but Im going with TITO this weekend.  I met Tito in Kuwait and he seemed like an alright guy.  Plus Forrest rand out of the cage against Anderson and that peed me off, you got beat, man up and take it

If a wrestler is good enough to be considered for being ranked, he won't fly under the radar.  It doesn't take long before everyone knows who the good wrestlers are, even without coaches or others providing information.

Matt coughlin finishes 6-2 for 4th place  thats alot of matches

Notes of the night

Brett Rogers broke Fedors nose and had Fedor in bad position but still gets KO'd

Brett Rogers made himself look like an idiot and lost some fans including me

Shields and Miller,  Miller made mma look bad with his cheerleaders intro it was a good match and alot of ground action

Silva and Werdum had some  good scrambling for Hwt's

Soukudo looked good but Mousaui is a top 5 fighter.

Yes that is true but he did not even win freestyle state. He also got knock out on friday night as well at state the year he made it along with the others that are there. I just do not think that he has proven anything yet and he should be below the other three SQ at 171 from last year because he didnt wrestle last year

171 is weak this year, Vlahos proved himself this year in freestyle 2nd Greco 1st and for Team Indiana

Carmel girls swimming 23 straight state titles National record, informed  this on the football forum

Muncie Burris Volleyball 2A  won the last 12 state championships includes national rankings

M. Dei Wrestling 2A competes in no-class 98-03 and 06' 07 state champs

W. Central 5A  03-06 football state champs includes at least one high national ranking

Carmel Swimming, I know they won like the last 9 state championships but dont have the info
