I dont understand why jack bolin from fountain central @135 is not ranked this kid is a stud for a freshman.. he is a multi time iswa state champion... i really dont know his total record but at the cville eight way he was 25-1 and won the cville 8 way...
who is that one loss to and who has he beaten this year? corsaro is one of the top freshmen this year and he is struggling to stay in the top 20 at 135, coming in at #19 this week after winning seemingly everything there was to win as a kid. i'd argue that this, alone, puts bolin out of the top 20
-
Ronnie Bogle from Elkhart Memorial has beaten both Manspeaker and Padilla at 130.. Current record is 15-3.. Lost to Heistand, Barquillio, and Crume.
overlooked that, thanks for catching it, its fixed

this will be tough but i wanna see if anybody will take the time to do this.
pick your wrestler for each weight class for the 4 sectionals (ECC, calumet, crown point, and laporte)
ex-
103- marciano, minic, reitz, wrestler #4
to follow your example, reitz actually goes to calumet and micic* goes to crown point, so that order should be reversed..
i also see garza as the heavy favorite over reitz at calumet.

i find it interesting that hobart chooses to name their tournament after this man despite the circumstances from which he was dismissed of his coaching duties...
i think the don rogers invitational or the steve balash invitational would be much more fitting, since these are both two great guys involved with hobart's program.

145 and 152 are now up as well
-
not yet man, sorry.. i want some more time to think some of these situations over.. 103-135 have all been posted, they are up to date.
-
Van Horn to Yorktown, Knura to Lowell..
I'm hearing Van Horn may be eligible right away, but Knura could have to wait until next season to be eligible
-
Why would this be a good move? Unless he cant stay down at 160 I'd say his semistate @ 171 is easily just as tough if not tougher than 160.
at 171, i believe he's 3rd best in the semi state behind stein and underwood.
at 160, i believe welch, sims, mappes, holt, and fiddler are all as good as or better than him.
-
Also, will we see Danny Hamm of PH at 103 or 112 for the sectional?
-
125 sticks out right away with..
Slagle-Griffith
Binion-Mishawaka
Torres-Portage
Ayala-Hobart

hey everyone, right now i'm in the process of finishing up all of the weight classes. all of the results have been entered, and now its a matter of thinking everything over and repositioning people accordingly.. if you go to the individual rankings page and you click on a weight and all you see is the photo of the #1 kid, that means that weight is still being worked on.. i hope to have all of the weights done by tomorrow evening at the latest. thanks

Hostetler over Rupright by Fall this weekend
-
Also, there are rumblings of Dustin Parrish of Plainfield moving up to 171 from 160. It definitely looks to be a good move.. Can anyone confirm?
-
Cooper from HN is out for the year.
Not sure on Waite..
My question is I have seen Corsaro at 35 and 40 for the Irish.. Where will he be at the sectional?
-
Your right it could have, but the MWC COY award is a great honor and deff deserves its own thread. You r quite the Hater of the MWC may I ask why?? Who did the rankings guy wrestle for in HS? I bet u have a lot of love for your former conference too. As far as SQ goes I think we have a legit shot at getting 4 kids to conseco this year. Here r my predictions
NW- Hileman
Pioneer- Wagoner & Dorris
Caston- Halloway
Not bad at all considering the MWC is made up of ALL 1A teams with the exception of Winamac.
My former conference no longer exists, and no I have no love for the conference that my school participates in as it is awful, but not nearly as awful as the MWC. I was in attendance today at the best conference in Region, the DAC.
Will you be at the State Finals? If so, I'd love to wager a shaved ice that the MWC gets no state qualifiers this year.
-
Come on man, this post couldn't have gone in the MWC WRESTLING thread? There's too much MWC talk on this board as it is. How many state qualifiers will the mighty MWC get this year?
-
The rankings look solid, as usual. I do have a question for the Rankings Guy. You have the HN HWT. ranked, who hasn't wrestled all year, but will be returning. Would you rank the backup, too, if you felt like he was one of the 16 best(not saying that he is) in the state?
Yes, an example of this is the Farmer brothers at Bloomington South, who have split time at 145 this year and both have been in the top 16 in the state at different times this year.
-
You got Mitch Hartman (SB Clay) ranked at 125. He has wrestled 130 the whole year. Is he dropping down for sectionals or made a scratch weight??
Hartman made a scratch weigh-in at 125 at the Munster Super Duals in early December.
-
i have a question for the rankings guy. Why isnt matt irick of hamilton southeastern ranked anymore?? he has only lost 2 matchs and both were ranked higher than him... I believe he is now 23-2 and he was a state qualifer last year too
Irick at 160 was smoked 8-2 by unranked Ethan Dale of McCutcheon who himself has lost to other unranked wrestlers, off the top of my head Zach Eyster of Brownsburg being one. This is why he is not ranked.
