  1. Similar camp as Steve is in - originally from PA, coached in Ohio for a few years before jumping across the border to IN...no wrestle backs at the Semi-State level will never make sense to me. No doubt some kids will always be on the short end of the blood round .. so let's take that off the table.. What's more surprising is the basic economic benefits of wrestle backs and a two-day tournament and how that could be unappealing to ANYONE in a governing body. Basic (and likely not 100% accurate) mathematics. Let's say 5,000 people were at New Castle last Saturday, paying $12 a person = $60,000 Run the first and second round on Friday night and charge $10 = $50,000 Cut the total population in half for Saturday placing matches @ $10 = $25,000 Bringing total revenues in at $75,000 ... a 22% positive change in revenue ...
